are you guys talking about kotaro or negi? because i think she meant she will train negi and asuna to be strong. kotaro has a role, his role is negi's friend and rival (that and so that he doesn't get all the girl's in his class to himself), he is also the training partner eva chose specifically for negi.

Kotarou is there so that Negi won't be so lonely in the company of these older girls.
Besides, he's cute. He's my favourite male character in manga. Such a pity they always leave him out of anime.

That's true but another few chapters ago she had to fight Negi.

And Negi had to beg to get in too.

Negi had to do a hella lot more then beg^^

Kotaru is cool^^ A lot of the girl character's annoy me but as the comedic relief he works pretty well.

wait, what are you guys talking about? i thought eva forced negi to fight with negi not kotaro.

Answer to 1st Post: I love Kotaro. He's wonderful, cute, and... well just plain cute.

simply put we need more guys in this, simply to cause some trouble for the girls, or cause some misunderstandings or comedy.

kotaro is needed, since negi needs at least one guy friend and somone his own age range. Plus kota already has his own possible harem as well chizuru/kaede/natsumi/madoka/mei. and no i'm not a shipper these are just common pairing for kota.

The real question is: Is there anyone who doesn't like him?

I dont like him =/
