Thread: Are the Animes worth watching

After reading the series I thought about watching the animes. But I have gotten a slight impression that I might be dissapointed. I know that the story will diverge from the manga at some point but is that the only gripe?

umm if ur talking about the original negima and not the new one that is airing currently... the basic story isn't too different from the manga... but they decided to mix components of the later chapters with their version of finishing the series.. and it kinda (hmm how should i put this) spookes you a bit... as for the new 1, they just use same characters (different artwork) but with a fairly different story board, the new one has more random humor and a bit more fanservice

i dont like the first one at all. they change so much rearange things for no real reason and condensed 3 books of material into 2 episodes. i havent seen the newer one but the first one made was a great disapointment to me with the exception of the music.

The first anime was alright if it wasn't for the fact that the last five episodes came out of nowhere... At that point I got the impression that they had run out of money and were trying to finish the series with what they had left.

The second one... Well it's ok. I find the music rather cool but it kind of bugs me that so far every episode has had a contract formation. And the recent episodes... See where it goes...

Hmmm, maby I should just pass for now.

you should just watch it when you have time to kill. like if im doing nothing on friday nights, i just watch anime. so just watch it whenever you have time

Noone runs it on TV here (basic cable) so the only option if buying it. I am also against watching it on Youtube for obvious reasons.

first ones ok though they do some of it pritty badly at some points and it wraps up badly
the second good music plot mostly comidy and the provitional contracts are handed out a lot yes

but also a fair amount of fighting so its a bit better

also the cards used for the contracts are different-and don't always work well
