Thread: Ken Akamatsu

Is it just me or has Ken Akamatsu toned down on the perverted stuff and focused more on the"artistic side" of fan service? I've already read Vol.1 , 10,11,12, 13, and 14, and it seems that he's putting more and more emphasis on the clothes they're wearing as the manga progreses.

it's turning more into a shonen manga then a fanservice manga. love hina was more fanservice than shonen. negima is more shonen than fanservice.

Or he's just more into the lolicosplay stuff :3

From the beginning he said that he wanted to do something different than Love Hina...It's more shonen now but that doesn't mean the fanservice is gone either...there's still quite a bit of it in each chapter...it's just considerably less than in some of the earlier chapters...

Now, now, people, mangakas do get tired of being all fanservice. Give Ken Akamatsu-sama a break. XP

True. It is not because the mangaka is becoming bored of it's own fanservice at all. It is due to the seriousness of the current arc, a.k.a.the battle against Chao.

To make too many random fanservice would ruin the whole "I must stop chao from changing the world!" feeling.

I believe that Ken would place a lot of fanservice after this arc, so don't you guys worry a thing, you naughty nose-bleeders :P

well their has to be serious time in manga once in a while after the battle with chao their will be plenty of fanservice.

having some new feelings for someone and the other girls will go into offensive
