No idea, and it'd probably mever be revealed (to encourage speculation of a relationship between Nagi and Al).

Theoretically, the stronger mage will lend his/her powers to his/her Ministra. An example is the Negi and Konoka pactio, since Negi is stronger/more in tune with magic, Konoka receives power from Negi. Another is the possible Takane and Mei pactio, where Mei is the junior and Ministra. Since Al himself is a mage, his Magister must be considerably stronger.

yea it's speculated between al and nagi. if your wondering how they did it they probably did a blood ritual instead of a kiss one.

Then again, the blood pact version was never mentioned in the untranslated (Japanese) manga, as it was probably just a space filler by Del Rey...

There are many other ways other than kissing in making a pactio, so the Nagi and Al pactio is possible.

Now that was what Chamo said. I'm not so sure about blood pacts, though, but it's still possible.

Hmmm..... i think he made the card himself, since the pact seem's to be required only when a mage make a pact with a norm. This would explain why the pic of Mana on her card is out dated and Al's isn't.

Or they could have just man kissed.

well i beleave their are differnt ways to creat the card but the first way is probaly easier because then who did mei kiss, but the she could kiss the blond hair girl.
