Thread: tatsumiya mana and others involvment with Chao

She seems like an honour bound person but at the end of it she is also a mercenary. She takes jobs for both the academy and Chao alike so her own motives are outweighed by money.

In terms of her fight with Ku Fei, she declined to take her reward because she did not fulfil her contract. She was supposed to lose to Ku Fei deliberately but she reveals that in fact she was fighting her hardest and she was still bested.

Might have been different result if she was allowed her guns in the match but there you go...

she has a pactio card right?looking to the picture in the pactio card(young girl holding two gun)it seems like she has a relationship with mages.by the way do all of u think chao is the villain?just like in chapter 148 when yue talk about that thing(that chao maybe didn't do any bad things at all)

No person is evil, it's simply a different viewpoint.

Mercenaries don't get hung up over good or bad as long as the reward is in proper accordance to the task (assuming the task doesn't break some code of conduct to begin with). Any faction can hire mercenaries as long as they have the necessary funds. The very fact that Mana chose to fight with full force rather than take a deliberate dive for the sake of monetary compensation shows that money is not the only thing she values as a mercenary. She stakes her reputaion on her abilities rather than getting the job done by dirty means seems fairly honorable don't you think?

Correction, to most part of the world, what Hitler has done is evil.

Anyway, Mana agree with Cho's point of view and she sticking to it. So she is more of a soldier fighting for her belives than a profissional doing her job.

Heck, geting paid while doing something you belive in is way better than not geting paid at all.

Theirs really not deeper mean what mana is doing she just a fighter for hire, if anything probaly testing her strength out. but really her bullets she using during the fevistal is a chep move.
