Thread: Why is Negi still 10?

Have you noticed that in the manga it has been over a year since he joined as a teacher, but the characters still call him a 10-year-old... whats with that!

negi was nine when he joined the class. though i don't know why they still call him ten years old even though three years have past (supposedly). actually, i think his true age is unknown since his training with eva.

It will be cool if negi becomes like 13 year old because of the training
and the girls will be like: "Negi are you getting taller?"

it will be better if he became a little more older becuase the age difference between him and the girls is too high and I wanna see some romance soon

he was nine and 3/4 so i assume is birthday is at some point during the winter so i would guess that this year they will probably ask him when it is and its will be something odd like he was born on christmas or something

Meh, some people count their age by the chinese new year. Negi is 10 by the chinese new year, and later admitted to Asuna that he's really only 9. Or something like that.

Eh, Negi said he was 10 because he used an old way of tracking one's age, and not his calendar age.

Right now, his calendar age is 10 years old, but since he's been cheating (using Eva's resort) by 11 or 12 he might have a teenager's appearance. I'm looking forward to something like that... XD
