I got confused when Chao said that she is somewhat related to Negi by blood... Do you really think Chao is physically related to Negi??! Well... For me... I think it's a lie because she is a mad scientist and she knows how to plan so well.... But maybe she is related to Negi... Hmmm....

Well, it is confirmed that she's from the future, though if she is Negi's descendant, we don't now for sure. (At least, not yet.)

Well, she may not be related. But if she is, Negi's wife is probably from 3-A, or she might not be from 3-A. As of now, we don't have any proof of Chao being Negi's descendant.
If I am not mistaken, as I am an analysist of such, didn't she say in the manga that she "was a blood relation", therefore there should be such a relation?
