Maybe its just me, but do you guys feel less of an attachment to the characters in Negima than to those in Love Hina?

Its not inferior i actually think its superior in that its not following the same pattern theres more of a plot then love hina had. Many of Negimas characters while simular to love hina characters are different in thier own way.
its optional
if you think its inferior for you it is
if you think its better for you it is
i think its better
you think its inferior
the world goes on

for me, negima is superior to Love Hina. main reasons?
- action sequences
- deeper plot
- main character is actually cool
Echo we agree love hina was about a guy who fails at school and life. negima is about a 10 year old mage who without wanting too seems to attract women. He also is much more refined and detailed then love hina main character who became a clone of another character in how he looks and acts.
IMO, comparing LH and MSN are like comparing apples and oranges. Their only similarity is the ecchi style Akamatsu is very good at, like saying that both apples and oranges are fruits.
But MSN is on a different level. It has a deeper story (LH's was pretty predictable, you know that Naru and Keitaro will end up together...), though less better character development (it's hard to maintain the background for at least 31 of Negi's class to boot, not including the support crew and major villains...) and most importantly, very imaginative action sequences.
Nonetheless, both are good in their own way, so neither can be considered inferior to the other.
There's a good reason why you may feel less attached to the characters in negima. There are over 31 of them, and thats just counting his class. Frankly I'm surprised Akamatsu can even keep a plot going with that many characters.
