Thread: spoiler- question about negima anime

for any of you that have seen the anime in episode 23 to 24 asuna dies. did they do this on purpose or did they just feel like leading away from the manga? WHAT HAPPENED?!!!!!

Please look into other topics about the anime before you start posting questions. The Negima anime was more or less a bunch of random filler episodes with some mild relation to the actual story. Asuna never dies that was just the method they used to end the series after it obviously failed, this has no relation to the storyline what so ever just like most of the show itself.

You haven't watched up to ep26, correct? Asuna comes back.

MAJOR SPOILERS OF THE DECADE:
1) Jesus dies.
2) King Kong dies.
3) Asuna comes back.
4) Sushi-Y translates the next chapter.
5) Akamatsu's assistants draw hentai.
6) The PS3 is screwed.
7) Snake goes to SSBB.

9) Negima the anime sucks sometimes.

nah the ending was soo annoying
the anime to great parts
1. episode 24 around the 18 minute mark, yuecchis passion was so perfect
2. the moment asuna died, i was sooo happy
the worst parts are the way negi acted after her death and when she was brought back

As far as im concerned the entire anime was one big cluster fuck and should be wiped entirely from history. However that would be a perfect world and obviously we dont have that so the damn thing still exists to cause confusion. Just keep in mind the Anime was done by an outside organization and was altered to fit their needs so dont count on it to provide actual storyline.

HOWEVER from what I hear the author is going to actually have a say in what happens in season two so we may see a decent show. Unfortunately it seems they arent going to start over so its guaranteed the show wont be as good as it could of been....

Second Series
A second series was announced on May 9, 2006 to be developed by Gainax and Shaft, and directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, the director of Pani Poni Dash! and Tsukuyomi - Moon Phase. It will air in Japan starting in fall 2006, and it's still not clear if this new series will continue the previous one's storyline or start again from zero, as speculated by many fans who are unsatisfied with the first series' issues.

and what amazed me is how bad a few chars were drawn, considering XEBEC was part of making it

I agree whole heartedly the art was pitiful; very bland and without any texture. They made Yue look terrible, same with Asuna.

not sure i think Mr. ken had no choice in puttting asuna's time to die cause some times all anime productions have a saying on what the creator shows
