Thread: Do Girls Like Negima?

Are there any girls that like Negima? I’m a girl and I’m really out of the loop here as to who's a boy, girl, he/she, or can't tell what they are around here.

So far while I’ve been on this board I can tell who the guys are, the ones that say how revealing the clothes are and stuff that, you know, guys say. But I can’t tell who the girls are (if there are any).

My point is if there are any girls out there that are Negima fans, please let me know. I'm lonely in my little corner. TT_TT

Oh yeah, there are tons of girls who read MSN. One of my female friends actually introduced me to the series. The story is definitely good enough to read and it doesn't really need the fanservice it has. I really like Akamatsu's art style, too. ^_^

Ah, this question...This was actually asked at AQS once-upon-a-time.

First things first...The shocking truth. I'm assuming you read the scans by AQS. You know the translator, right? It's Sushi-Y. Sushi-Y IS a girl. So, the most critical person in the Negima internet world is a girl...

Next, we have Se-chan (AQS proofreader) and Reika (AQS editor) that are both girls. That's it for all the AQS staff I remember...Some of the AQS forum goers also are girls. (I won't mention names here since you may not go to AQS.)

For MY real life...my sister reads Negima and some of my school friends that are girls also do. I think one of the things that attracts the girls is: "WOW!!! That boy teacher is CUTE~~~!!!" That doesn't mean that nothing else is good though...There's the story, the art, the characters, etc...

i introduced it to my friend and she liked it a lot. wow, i'm actually surprised at how well-received it is amongst girls though, considering all the fan-service.

I usually won't read a manga because of fan service. It kinda ruins the story.

Still, Negima's not too bad with the fanservice. Panty shots are actually kinda funny (especially when you recreate them xD) and the nudity isn't terrible or overused, like in some I've seen.

I'm actually a female too. I've read Love Hina by Akamatsu as well, and I'll simply say I love it. ^_^ I know a group of girls who have read both Love Hina and Negima and love it.

I´m male... But the lil sis from one of my friends really likes to read Negima, or Love Hina... at all, she asks me everytime, when I go there "Hey Alex! You got any new hentais or so???"
Thats kinda embrassing, when her mother or father is around ... and there is the girlfrind from another friend of mine, she reads negima too so at all: There are girls that read negima! At all, in Germany there`re more girls than boys reading manga...

Mahou Sensei Negima, a hentai? And Love Hina? Whoever told that poor girl what hentai is was quite wrong. o_o
