well, the thing is, fan service keeps manga under 18, and it's also just a comedy-factor more than anything. 'sides, for something like negima, anything heavier does not really suit it. he's a 10-year old kid o_O;;

But it's supposed to be a childish story. It's a light hearted tale of a ten year old wizard trying his best to tutor a class of maniac teenage girls.

True it's getting rather darker in these later chapters but the underlying gag humour remains.

If you want to read about sex then Futari Ecchi is available to download too...

... and even that isn't particually hardcore. Thats very light hearted too.

I think the hentai parts never going to happen, they are perverted yes, but the reaction of everyone just going to make you laugh.

also think about it, its obvious negi is innocent D: , it's just the girls! if you notice it every girl in his classroom wants to go out with him, blah blah blah XD, anyway there is more backgrround in the story than just this.

It's not hentai, there is no intercourse or any extreme sexuality. I would consider it ecchi, and it's done in a tasteful way (sometimes).
