Yet they, again expect Asuna and possibly the teacher (blanking on her name it's too late for me after no sleep last night) didn't notice anything at all? I don't know I think he did something a very short time freeze that no one would have noticed but Asuna who "nullifies magic".

in the MANGA!!!! this happened exactly
the eraser droped on negi and EVERYONE FREAKING NOTICED
then all of a sudden it paused in the air for a SPLIT SECOND
and EVERYONE NOTICED, and the it continued to fall, and EVERYONE POINTED AND LAUGHED!! ESPECIALLY ME!

now in the anime, they did this weird zoning out thing
where the same things happened with the exception of
the scene lasted WAY too long
and that no one but asuna moved, even NEGI didnt move except for a slight movement of his lips (tiny tiny movement) now whats the use of a spell that stop times that stops time for you too?!?!!? not to mention you saw that in the manga every mage teacher says PLAYING WITH TIME IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Negi didn't stop time. The scene only emphasized on Asuna noticing the eraser being stopped mid-air. End of discussion, let's stop bringing up these pointless threads. -_-

I am not sure if they did notice or not in the manga and if they did again why was Asuna the only one to comment on it?

nah, he can't, i just thought he tried to stop the eraser, but he didnt cause he didnt want others to know his magic

And with Nodoka, he actually like took out his staff and used a wind spell to slow her fall, not freeze her in place.

Maybe this explains it? The manga and the anime is different, the manga is teh original shiet and the anime is a low budget B-movie, happy now?

you know this thread died a while ago and you didn't have to resurrect it and yes captain obvious the manga and anime are different they just showed that scene to emphasis a point.
