Thread: Opinions of the Anime

I'm a huge fan of the manga, but use really disappointed in the anime. Not only it was dragged, they changed they storyline. Asuna wasn't suppose to die I mean okay fine, they can kill her off but bring her back from the dead is so unnecessary. I mean what's the point of killing her in the first place. Negima was my favorate manga and I was looking forward for the anime and though what a great series it would be. But no, they had to screw it up just like DNAngel. I can't deny that the beginning was pretty good but there was a flaw to it is that in the manga it was rated as ecchi but the anime cut so many things out. for those who have watched it will know what I mean. Now my biggest concern is fact that they might now have a second season because of how badly it was screwed up. The mahora tornament arc was really good in the manga and i believe that if it were to be made into anime it would look pretty good. I really can wait to find out what's going to happen next. If anybody know anything about the second season, let me know.

There's going to be a second season, as well as two OVAs being planned.

Fortunately, these will be made by different people, so we may hope they won't screw up.

yeah the anime was completely random i think it was because ken akumatsu had no say in it

The anime was nothing more than barely on track filler. They covered a few story points (mind you they were completly out of order) but for the most part it was all made up by the show producers. They may have had some information about the Pactio cards and such from the writer in order to create some of the stuff they have in the show. However when compared to the actual story it is nothing but trash.

a little bit lame anime... i've had a high expectation before... but it turn out preety lame... iam disappointed, i hope the 2nd season and OVA are much much much more better than the 1st season

The anime had its amusing parts and the characters were nice (I liked the voice acting and the music)...but there were some things that was way off. If they could redo an arc, I'd want them to redo the Kyoto one and follow the manga. It makes me wonder if the producers even read the manga for what they came up with.

At least one good thing is that Gainax and some other studio is doing the second season, so that may work out pretty well and they may stay on track.

I'd rather they started again! Rewrite the anime and let Akumatsu-sama have a say in the production of the show. I love his manga but his anime is crap. It is pretty much the same thing with Love Hina. They really screwed up Negima which is a real shame. I hope that the 2nd season and ova r better but honestly i wouldn't be surprised if they screwed that up to.
