i was dissappointed in the anime myself seriously changed most of the story to what i belive with me starin at the screen think WTF!!!! you know i really do hope they would let Ken Akumatsu have a say in this, geez man hes the creater. think it through
sure it had its good points on a whole as its own inividual series, but i would of liked it more if they allowed it to be more with the manga that the fans love and do something on their own

The first season was total crap really.

But now hearing that Gainax will be involved is exciting.

although i'm not a gainax fanboy there involment increases the chances of being a worthy adaption!but i've seen some scans of the ova and in terms of art is it so much more worthier to the manga!!!!

Am I really the only one here who loved the anime?

I saw the anime before reading the manga and I have to say it was one of the best anime series I've ever seen. Only real flaw in it is that I have to wait for season 2

But I guess that's just my opinion.

P.S. Or are you mad because you didn't get to see tons of upskirts and girls getting stripped naked accidentally?

The same thing happened for me. I first saw the anime and I really liked it. Later I discovered that there was a manga of MSN! (exactly the same thing happened to me with Love Hina. I first saw the anime then read the manga.) A friend told me about the anime and how good it was. So he gave it to me. I really shed a tear or two when asuna died. So sad. But I have to agree that the manga is by far superior to the current anime.

Maybe we should all wait for a anime's to appear first and then start reading the manga's of it, hehe...

Also... I wonder how Asuna is immune to magic in the manga if it might not be the same as in the anime.

Technically, if it were the same, her 10 years would be up cause they're already in their third year of middle school. AND they already showed they know when her birthday is, so the birthday party part is definitely out.

Hmm... actually, if it's already their third year in middle school, and Negi was 10 at the beginning of the second year, shouldn't he be 11 now? They've always called him 10 during the entire manga, years 2 and 3. (except when he told Asuna he was 10 "counting it").

P.S. In the anime, now that Asunas curse is lifted, wont she start attracting demons again?

Third year middle school ---> 14-15. Contradictory? o_o *doesn't really know the topic*

Negi was 9 in the beginning, I think. Wasn't he almost, but not quite, ten?
