Thread: End of not the same arc

What, no comments about the end of the, well, it's hard not to think of it as the Soul Society arc, even though the prison islands were nothing like the Soul Society. Aside from, it being all about rescuing the captive female from baddest asses yet, no resemblance what-so-ev-er. After all, Tokine is nothing like the (uncharacteristically) wimpish Rukia. And Yoshimori's nakama got out a lot quicker than Ichigo's.

Still, no comments on this?

^What's to say about it? This time there was very little aftermath or information gain from the arc. All that happened was that Tokine got out safely with the help of Yoshimori and that some fodder died or got injured on the side. Everything went back to normal after that.

In the previous arcs we'd learn more of Masamori's ambitions or Yoshimori would defeat a uber boss by learning new kekkaishi abilities, but I can't remember even that happening.

No, but we did learn a fair amount about Tokine's abilities. And her and Yoshimori's relationship actually had some movement.
