Wouldnt a huge stone wall be enough to ward off the zombies? Since they dont seem to attack nonliving things. So you would need a huge group of people to build a wall near a river or something else where you dont need a too big wall to get a huge zombiefree area.
But I guess that building such a wall would use quite some time, so hmm, how to survive against zombie masses until it is done?

hi, i just found out this comic, but haven't read it yet. Does anyone know where to directly download it?? Or viewing it online?? Coz stoptazmo only have 4 chaps.

The wall is a decent idea. However, an island is still the safest place to be, methinks.

Tanks can just roll over people, they have so much mass that no person or mass of people could possibly stop them just by surrounding you.

Island is a good idea, and a wall will be effective unless the zombie become smarter...

I don't trust walls. They tend to crumble easily.

An island would be fine until you run out of food, or the disease somehow spreads to the island (from refugees, perhaps?). Then you'd be screwed.

Maybe moving to the northern forests of British Columbia would work. No zombies there, nosiree.

well, even if you're walled in, when you go out, you might be ambushed by zombies. that's why i suggested a moat with piranhas, thus the extra protection in the form of a drawbridge.

an island is nice, unless it's already infested, or a zombie managed to sneak onto an aircraft that's heading there.

but then again, you could purge the island first, then set up guards to monitor all incoming passengers. as for food, it shouldn't be a problem with fishing, hunting and foraging. as long as you don't have too many people, it can't be too hard surviving - afterall, there *are* people in this world that live on islands.

A moat could fill up soon with corpses, certainly once hordes of zombies arrive. Island could work out great though.
