Thread: download color

once I click the download button the download starts but it is also supposed as far as I know to change color to a visited page but it doesn't
I am using windows 7 x64 with the latest version of firefox
can anyone give me advice on how and where to change the settings so that it it change the color

ps. in other sites visited pages change their color to purple.

The function I think you are alluding to (links changing colour after they are visited) is, as far as I know, down to your browser. If I remember correctly, clicking a download link doesn't take you to a new page, so your current page (and the links) doesn't update.

Try downloading something and refreshing the page.
