Thread: Account Deletion.

I'd like my account to be deleted. What am I supposed to do?

We do not delete accounts. If you don't want to use your account all you do is not login anymore.

And there I thought it was another nice site. How naive I was.

I want my data back! I want to have my control on where I can sign or not! I want to leave the site if I decide I don't like it, and, no, by leaving I don't mean not logging in, my freaking God.

The whole point of this site seems like a stinking trap, you sign in, but cannot sign out. I should know better before signing in, after all, it's just another place who lives thanks to their members, whatever they like it or not.

But, since it's like this is the only one shitty place in the web, dear users, is there a way to get rid of an account there? I know people already figured out how to delete y!gallery accounts or bleachexile ones, so I guess there's a trick here too, right? I cannot be the only one person who gets furious when seeing "policies" like this -____________-.

I doubt many forums will actually delete accounts, as that would cause problems with posts if a user wanted all posts of theirs deleted it could impact many different threads. You won't find any major forum agreeing to delete accounts along with user posts, things simply do not work that way. You were not forced to signup, and although I have not looked at your post history the internet does not allow for anything to be forgotten so remember that for the future.

If you do not want to use your account anymore, don't use it. You can always simply change your info to a random email address, disable PM's and be done with things.

It's disgusting that you need to have a dummy e-mail adress for such purposes like getting rid of unwanted memebership of pathetic sites.

We do not remove accounts period. We've never deleted a single account and I do not plan on starting now.

I've figured as much by now.

Honestly, I cannot help by hope that someday someone will just decide it's important to care about any kind of personal data in net and just force everybody like you to force their policies.
