I try to disable the listing on the page /downloads/members/display_cats.php (Hide Categories selected, Change pressed, yes) but the list is still displayed at the top of the forums page. Please resolve this, there is at least 2 screenful of information to scroll away... Thanks. Using Firefox 3.0.1 en-US on XP SP3 32-bit.
Cookies must not be working for some reason, does this issue happen only on the default skin?
No, it doesn't work in 2 other skins either (I-Bulletin and tigra), and neither does the hiding work in IE7. Looking at the cookies in FF, I don't see a cookie name that has a resemblence to a setting storing this state, however, there are 4 other ones for the stoptazmo.com domain. If I can help with solving this issue with more info, please let me know.

Do things work when you go there? That is our newer version, let us know if things work better using that. This version does not use cookies.
If the link on debug page is supposed to be able to turn off the listing on the main page, it's not working either, unfortunately, nor is the manga listing hidden on the debug page. What cookies should my browser send anyway?
It works for me...
show_cats.php checks the bbuserid cookie to determine if ads should be shown. If it exists it checks the DB to see if you have chosen to enable/disable ads.Quote:

The only other thing I can think of is logout, clear cookies/cache. Come back and change to any other skin besides the default one, login and then go to show_cats.php and show_debug.php and see if things work then and let us know.
Done a few days ago, nothing changed. It seems it doesn't work for some other people in the forum.
Could you try logging out then try logging in again with the "Remember Me" box checked and see if that helps? Try both links and let me know what happens.Quote:
