Thread: Trojan.Clicker

Hi I made a thread a couple months ago about this but got no response.

It seems like sometimes when I click on a chapter to download. My antivirus program detects a Trojan.Clicker.CM file trying to run on my computer.

I just wanted to know what this is about and why everytime I visit here whether I'm just clicking to see if there are new chapters to download or whatever, that one of these things appears on my computer?

Am I really going to be ignored on this? Isn't there a mod or admin that can tell me why a Trojan appears from my antivirus program when I try to dl something or surf a particular manga?

It seems to be linked to your popups.

Stop giving me viruses.

I wish we could do something, but only Kane (the admin) can... and I don't know if he's been online lately. Sorry.

I think he was being ignored because he didn't follow the section rules.

I posted more specific instructions on what it was when I first made this thread awhile ago. It got deleted or something, but it was a couple months back so I don't know.

Unfortunately, my Operating system and specs have nothing to do with why my antivirus program gets a Trojan.Clicker file on it. If I wasn't following the rules and posting a good post and stuff, why wasn't I banned?

I think we can all agree that when you click the download link you have a popup advertisement come up, right? Well occasionally, not always, my antivirus program, Bitdefender, says that it just stopped a virus from activating on my computer. I have to run a scan so that it will get moved and deleted. When I go into my quarantine it says next to the file name that it is a popup.

I just posted like that earlier to try and get someone to respond to my thread.

I can't remember which links I got them from. I read several manga and probably got them from a variety of different ones. I can't remember for sure which was the last one but it was one of the last gantz chapters I dled. Looking at it, it may have been 250-254. I clicked to dl and it popped up again. If you need any other information, just let me know.

edit: I just clicked on the Tenjou Tenge section to dl. Didn't dl, just the download page for the chapters came up, and the virus popped up twice after clicking on it 3 times.
Its linked to you popups, I believe, it doesn't matter what you click on this site. Some random popup is causing it.

Happened again when I clicked on the Fullmetal Alchemist link. Same Trojan and everything.

I hope I'm not being ignored on this.

We cannot help you if we are not being told where you are being taken, or given any other information to track which sponsor is responsible for these problems.

What do you mean by where I am going? I have popup blocked enabled so I don't know what advertisement is doing it. You want me to turn it off, look, and keep on clicking on your links to find it for you?

No one else gets anything like this on their computers? What kind of antivirus programs do you guys run and stuff? I'm using Bitdefender. What I'm concerned about is whether or not this is an actual virus or if its just a potential virus that my antivirus program is being overzealous about.


Nevermind I just input the file name on to bitdefender to see what it was. It appears to be something to bypass Nortons to display popups or something. Link is here.

It says something about where the advertisements carrying the Trojan come from.
