Download Time Out
I use Getright ( I have it configured to 1 connection per download) for downloading files and it used to work fine but today when I add more than one file to the download list it only downloads the first file and when it tries to download the rest it says they were timed out. Is it a new security measure to prevent download manager use or is it some kind of problem with the server?. I really don't like to manage downloads manually and start one after I finish another that's why I use Getright, I just add files to the list and it takes care of the rest ( or used to).
I guess that what you're trying to say is " don't use getright" , am I right?

I think it is really unfair that you think all download managers try to get more than one connection at a time.

I guess what Kane is trying to say, is read the damn rules. We do not allow download managers at all, period.
Like I said before, thinking all download managers get more than one connection per file is kind of stupid. I just use them to create a list of files to download not for faster downloads and I guess many more people use it for the same.. Don't you think that it's too much work to download a 300+ chapters long manga is too much work? You should admit at least one download manager for having files in queue or just have the mangas available per volume.
For you information I can still use Getright and it works perfectly it's just that I can't have files in queue anymore as the links time out.
Why not upload mangas by volume then?
And I meant a download manager of your own selection.
My problem is not using a download manager or not, my problem is with having to download chapters one after another instead of creating an automatic list with some program. Surely old users wouln't care about it since they have done it already and just download one chapter of a series when it is released but new users like me do care about having to download things one by one.Perhaps those sites where you have to pay a monthly fee are not as bad after all.

There are plenty of other places where you can bulk download, if you don't want to use them thats your perogative. Kane is generous enough in that he provides all these downloads for free and pays the bills out of his own pocket. If he chooses to offer manga one chapter at a time you are in no position to complain.
I myself think that all the complete seires should be batched into volumes, but its not up to me, its up to Kane, and I respect every decision he makes.
I do respect the admin and I think he/she has enough work, but what I was talking about is not bulk down loading as it is still one download at a time, what I was asking for was for the links to get a longer time out time or not to time out at all.

Q: What is a download manager?
A: It is a program that connects to a file over and over again to obtain more speed, thus acting like 2-10 people downloading 1 file at the same time. The one I use does not conennect "over and over again" for more speeds
Q: I am using a download manager and I get asked for a password, what do I do?
A: We do not support download managers, disable it and you will not be asked for a password when downloading unless you are downloading from Mirror 4. The one I use does not ask for passwords
Q: What is wrong with using my download manager?
A: Download managers saps our bandwith, thus making it harder to serve to the masses. By you being greedy and using a download manager, it makes it harder for other people to download manga. Therefore, most download managers are blocked I understand this and I know many people like to waste the server's bandwidth so I understand why download managers are against the rules but all I'm asking for is some way to queue files not for download managers to be allowd. I know I'll probabbly get banned for the site for all this download manager talk but I wanted to express my thoughts anyways.
