This could be related to the inability of pages on ST to fully load - see the thread about page loading errors, where some of us testify to that. Maybe the traffic is high enough that the pages stop loading at some point, or the like? When speeds are really slow, cut-offs seem more likely to happen (in personal experience - can't give a technical explanation, sorry).
