    Default Broken File

Yeah I downloaded the KissxSis from lastest downloads, and it was did not unzip properly. I even tried teh right click save target as. BUt I would get this error !
C:\Documents and Settings\******\Desktop\KissxSis_v01_c01[Manhua-Revolution].rar: Unexpected end of archive

Normally I just download the file in question again and it works. This case not, I checked insinde and it only has 4 files. I have no idea if thats how it suppose to be or not. But I just thought I would report it. I read the faq and I think I posted it correctly hope I don't piss anyone off.

Thank you very much then, but it still doesn't answer my question.

The rules are ALWAYS necessary. Why should anything be an exception when it comes to a download problem?

Okay I'll bite.. reason why we want those 9 piece of info answered
    1. The Mirror #
    2. Your OS
    3. The browser you are using
    4. Have you tested on a different browser?
    5. Have you read our FAQ problem or searched our forum?
    6. Are you using a download manager?
    7. The file/series you are downloading from.
    8. The EXACT problem! "Help can't download!" does not do anything for us. Give us details.
    9. Have you tried right clicking the file and pressing "save target as"?
1: As far as i know its not really needed anymore.. but it is here, answer it anyways.

    2. Gives us an idea of what we're dealing with.. The solution to a problem with Mac OS may be completely different from windows.

    3. Again helps us understand what we're dealing with. Firefox is completely different from... lets say, Internet explorer.

    4. Again, different webbrowsing software may help you solve your own issue. This helps you isolate the source yourself. If one browser has troubles and another one doesnt, what is setup wrong in the first?

    5. Too many people don't read the faq and just quote this. Its in a vain effort to get people to search before making a new topic.

    6. its not as bad now but for a while we were getting flooded with why doesnt download manager x work? This again made people read the faq and see in big bold letters, DOWNLOAD MANAGERS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

    7. If there is a problem we would like to know the file name so we can check it out for ourselves (most of the download issues i see now arent a server side issue but more of a client side one).

    8. Help us focus our efforts on the specific issue. A reply of "Help it doesnt work" doesnt mean anything to us. The problem could be a corrupt file, server crashed, your computer has issues with its unzipping software. The list goes on.

    9. Again right clicking and saving target as will solve alot of problems. Helps you diagnose your own problem and also help us narrow down the possibilities.

So now you see why the 9 point posting guideline is used. I hope you have learned something today

We really ought to add another one as well, "10. Have you tried downloading the file again?".

...later, on another day. If someone's having computer troubles that they don't know about, it won't help if they try downloading again right after. Something like "have you been having problems for at least x days" might be better.

Yeah, but usually they are complaining about a corrupt file. Rarely is the file on the server actually corrupt, it just didn't download correctly.
