when i download it, it says that it is in an unknown format, or damaged. this hasn't happened before with the other downloads, so is it broken, or is it something with me that's the problem?

8. it will begin downloading, giving me a 21 min time till completion of download. it will then suddenly complete, and upon opening it i am given the message of it being in an unknown format or damaged.

okay, i was able to finally download the chapter, but i still don't know what went wrong the first few times.

Your connection was timing out, corrupting the file. Dunno why it would do that but files seem to download fine here.
