We don’t really have a good reason for asking people to not request series. It’s really just to stop people from complaining why their suggestion was not added to this site, or why we don’t host a certain series. There were also far too many requests that I figured it might just be time to make a rule to ask people to stop requesting. Even now there are posts constantly asking us to add X series to this site, it was far worse back before we had this rule in place though.

Whatever we decide to add will be added, that’s all there really is to it.
