as to why the Members List says we have 142,619 members but the Forum Index says 168,639. i know banned members dont show up on the members list but do we really have 26,000 banned members?

sorry if this thread is stupid but its been bugging me and if you dont like it feel free to delete it.

im still shocked that weve seem to misplaced 26,000 people and theres no simple explanation for it? never mind one hundredth of that number is probably bans...
