Should i read the manga? I've seen the anime....
I started watching anime when i was introduced to Berserk (scrolling through here it seems i'm not the only one who started this way), and watched a lot since then. What bothers me about a lot of the anime is that the manga are ongoing/longer than the anime, so the story either doesn't end when the anime ends or the anime isn't completely true to the manga. Even tho i enjoyed so many, i'm wondering if it's worth it to read the manga of a few in particular after watching the animes (which i enjoyed) or just move on to something else interesting. I'm almost done (or caught up) with berserk now, and i read them every night when i go to bed, so i'm going to need something new soon.
1) hunter x hunter
3) trinity blood (light novel or manga? don't see on this site tho)
4) monster (i hear the manga is almost identical)
5) code geass
6) vampire knight
also, if anyone knows other psychological thriller types (like monster or higurashi) that are good, feel free to recommend. thanks in advance!
EDIT: sorry im not used to this forum layout yet, guess this is in the wrong section -__-

I think this is in the right place. If not, no worries, it's close enough.
I can only help with one of those, being the one I've looked at both formats: I found the fragmented format of the Higurashi manga annoying, and found the anime much more coherent and enjoyable.
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.
thanks, that will save me some time. I think i am going to start with claymore and hunter x hunter since they are both still ongoing and wait for more feedback.
