Default mangas that are good but can't read them over and over

Have u ever have a manga that u think is really good but u just can't reread them
to me, I just can't stand Fruits Basket, it's a good manga, but I can't read it again (too dramatic for my taste)
Bleach is another one, I just know what happens next, it just not as exciting when I reread them

I''s. Once was enough for me. Couldn't really go through the emotional rollercoaster again and again. Generally, I find myself reluctant to read any manga that has a lot of moments of intense emotional anguish. Intense happiness, no problem. Light troubles, no problem. A series with one or two times of extreme pain, not that problematic. But if your series is just one painful/traumatic experience after another (like Fruits Basket, I''s and even Ichigo 100%), then I'll never read it more than once.

I'll agree on Ichigo 100%, but for a different reason, I found the series a struggle to get through the first time.
I'll disagree on Fruits Basket though, I didn't find it too heavy despite the fact that there seem to be only disfunctional parents in it. I've re-read the manga and enjoyed it.

The mangas that I won't re-read are the ones where the ending was particularly lousy.

I'm with Stuyvesant -- sometimes I want to wallow in the intensity, especially a familiar one with a known ending, like Fruits Basket. It's the let-down endings that make me most sour on a series, and keep me from rereading.

I'm kinda that way with books, if it comes to that.
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.
