The Evil Empire

Is it gone again or is it just me? First they vanish for a couple months because of a server issue. Then they accidentally delete half of their accounts in a regular clean up of unused accounts. Now I go to the site and all I'm getting is a blank page saying, "IPS Driver Error" rather than the site.

Is anyone else having this new problem? Does anyone know what happened this time?

It appears they are having server issues. I've been refreshing the past 20 minutes since you posted and I keep getting the same error. Hopefully they fix it soon.

It's been 3 days since i tried to access evil empire... hope they will fixed the error soon

yeah i've been at it since that error first appeared, coz i check it everyday. at least now i know it isnt me.

I agree. It's nice to know it isn't just me.

Does anyone have any idea why it happened this time? Or an estimate of when the site will be back up?

From what I discovered from googling the problem a while back, the IPS driver error is most likely there because TEE needed to update their version of the Invision forum. Even Zephyr (tech admin at TEE) mentioned not long ago that they needed to update it.

I'm guessing it's not going to be up again until they get the new version, which could take a while. They'd need to get in contact with the Invision people, and if they are updating it, they'd probably have to recode things to be compatible with the new version, etc, etc.

yay, glad to know that it's not just me... i was about to post so my account wouldn't be deleted, but then i couldn't access it, so i started freaking out. but yay!

rotkrox1521- Your account may be deleted anyway. They had a problem recently where a bug in their system deleted about half of the accounts of active users when all they were trying to do was get rid of the inactive users. My account was one of the ones accidentally deleted...

Not only did they have that bug, but this is the second time they've been down this year! I feel sorry for them and I hope that they get the Invision stuff fixed soon.

Oh god x_x freaked me out there, I thought I was the only with the problem. Thanks for posting up this thread or else I would have never known x_x!
