    Depends largely on the series.
AMG for example looks fantastic, but the story is far too slow for monthly releases. The danger, as in what happened in the previous arc, is that in order to not drag the story out over many months, each arc has to be VERY short.

EDIT: Not related to AG, so moved.

I voted for weekly manga, cuz I like faster paced series (well,Bleach is an exception there :P),but you get the picture.
And like 98 said,it really depends on the series...

i have to agree with that monthly manga is most likely slower pace. It reminds of berserk . The artwork is awesome. It is the best drawn manga i have ever seen ! It makes the mona lisa look like a cave drawing. But the pacing in the story is slower than a snail. I'm not knocking the story. It is top quality too .

Compare the quality of Vinland Saga when it was weekly with when it moved to monthly. Not just the art, though that's obvious, but the storytelling got better, with each chapter moving the story along better.

Besides, the sort of quiet, emotional stories I like to read work better in larger chapters, and for those you need a month to draw them.
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask
