This is my first time venturing outside of the Berserk section which is mostly what I joined for (outside of the downloads), so please forgive/link me if there's already a thread on this that has had recent replies.
Well, considering that both mediums of entertainment are essentially works of television and books that are intended for little more than our enjoyment at the cost of the price (lest you scan/download/borrow), so how many of you have liked a title enough to actually go out and get them rather than the usual torrenting?
Anime-wise, I haven't bought any English-language dvd's as I live way far out in the east, and the only thing capable of reading those here (regions, I know they suck.) is my laptop which is a fried piece of junk-crap that just came back fromthe screen fixer guy when I literally punched the hell out of it from when it froze for the upteenth time from me downloading a little Rahxephon, which sadly was in its dubbed glory (or lack thereof). So I'm not able to watch them, and my drive is full anyway- can't if I wanted to. It at least doesn't freeze as often as it used to, but it's still slow as hell, and it pisses me the hell off that I can't watch anything I brought over here.
So as for manga, I'm a lazy bumpkin, but I did get the latest release of Eden: It's an Endless World! by Endo, which here is volume 18, and the Japanese ones should be at the same range in terms of book releases outside of the magazine, considering that the long-as-hell drab author comments puts it at June this year. Haven't bought anything else worthy of reckoning, since everything around these days pretty much sucks, as they don't sell epic seinen manga to anyone under 19. T_T
