Thread: the-evil-empire.net gone

No address changing. They are probably still busy with repairing. And there are probably only few updates due too many annoying questions. I once helped bringing back da-anime and it was hard as hell and so I can understand that it isn’t easy task.

it's still not up for me I get soem strange site>.< with advertisement. Dang this sucks.

I wish I could tell you more... but here's what I've got for now:

Everyone's having that happen when they try to see the site. It seems that the domain has expired - something that shouldn't have happened, as we're caught up with our payments.

I contacted my staff mentor last night but she doesn't know anything more than I do. We're waiting for the admin in charge of the problem to get back to us. Once I hear from her, I'll post an update on this site immediately.

Again, thanks for your concern everyone. As always, you can visit us on IRC for the most current information at #theevilempire@irc.irchighway.net. There are usually at least one moderator and one staff member in there, and the banner is regularly updated to show the status of the fix.

whew, man, that scared me. I hope them guys at EE can fix it and that they don't have too many headaches from this. My regards to them.

I write to the evil empire mods, and they answered this to me ^_^; i hope it helps! I'm sure they'll be back soon!!! yaaaaaaaaayyyyy!!! i miss the empire so much!!! u_u

Empire has not closed down. We're just having a some what serious problem with our server. We've been working on it for the past two weeks and we still have not gotten the whole thing figured out just yet. We are working as quickly as possible though so the Empire won't stay down for ever. If you know of any one else that uses our site please pass this message along. We'll be back so just please be patient.

I don't have much knowledge when it comes to maintaining a server but...
They sure are bastards when they take away the domain >_> and put a strange girl there...

Wish you guys only the best to fix that problem! Don't rush things though and take your time. Remember to eat properly and sleep XD.

lol. some random strange girl. yeah. wearing a backpack and standing in front of a school. creepy. jk. but, thanks sooo much for all of the updates!! i've been wondering what had happened to the site and why it was taking so long to get back up... not that i'm complaining. i mean, it's such a great site, as long as it gets back up sometime later, it's fine! ... gambatte to the admin!!

An update!

While the Evil Empire workers are still going through repairs and restoration of the site, we've temporarily set up a blog for updates on the repairs (since we didn't anticipate to take this long) and cater to members' download needs (yes, we are giving the download links there).
