Default animes or manga which were materpieces

Which animes or manga do you guys think are masterpieces?
    My opinion
    - Tengen Toppa gurren laggan - Pure GAR
    - code geass - whats not to love
    - death note - probably the most original idea i have ever heard.
    - claymore - an anime where females are super strong and not annoying
    - Dragon ball Z - pretty much set the standard for shonen anime
    - Berserk - blood, sex, and a good story
    - One piece- probably the best anime to ever be created

code greass was a masterpiece until season 2 begun.

death note was a masterpiece until the shitty little brat arc begun.

claymore the manga is a masterpiece.

one piece the manga is a masterpiece.

dragonball Z the anime didnt set any standart for anything. the manga kinda set a shonen standart for its time.

your right with berserk (since i proceed on the assumption that you mean the manga).

yet beeing a masterpiece depends to some extent on the eye of the beholder (since things like selling-quotas would imply that manga like bleach or naruto are masterpieces), therefore what i wrote above is my humble opinion, so dont feel offended.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is a masterpiece, one I'd put up without shame against any graphic novel from any country. (Manga only, there, as the OVAs cover less than a dozen chapters.)

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, amazing story told by a guy who threw away his mangaka future to direct "decent" anime. I will never forgive him.

5 Centimeters Per Second, and even I doubt that Shinkai might top his latest work with whatever he might do next.

Wolf's Rain, and you better damn well know why.

Although I've only chosen stuff that I actually can't see any flaws in.

DBZ was a masterpiece because its become the origin of almost every other shonen. Most shonen resembles DBZ in one way or another.

    Last Exile
    Grave of the Fireflies
    Cowboy Bebop
    My Neighbor Totoro
    Mind Game
    Piano no Mori - Movie
    Monster
    Ghost Hound

I also agree with 5 Centimeters Per Second, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou

Code Geass could be a masterpiece, but how can it be a masterpiece now when it isn't even finished yet? I reserve opinion about it until it finishes with a decent ending. Same with One Piece.... but that might take about 20 years to finish ~~

On the other hand Beserk is a Masterpiece within itself.. Just the golden arc can show that much.

And for extra masterpiecery, watch Grave of the Fireflies and My Neighbor Totoro as a double-feature, like they were originally released.

I thought the double feature was My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service.
