which sport should be a good plot for anime or manga?

well man there was tons of anime and manga which was inclueded or doing a plot of anime and manga.
example:
slamdunk(basketball)
hajime no ippo(box)
prince of tennis(tennis)
overdrive(bycicle)
captain tsubasa(football)
etc...
only asimple question:
which sport should be a good plot for anime or manga?
in my opinion;
marathon;
triathlon,
snowboard
penthatlon,
parachutte or skydiving
skateboard?

Just about anything with competition, really. If you want to make it focus on external conflict, make it one with head-to-head competition; if you want to focus on internal growth, make it a scored individual event.

Decathelon has enough variety of events and stretegies thereof, it could make a interesting one in the right hands.

Blitzball. I'd love a blitzball story. :3 Preferably not with characters from the FF games, though.

That, or a series about gymnastics might be interesting.
