Didn't Gonzo do Last Exile? That was an amazing anime. While generally I face palm (it's a reflex reaction lol) when I see Gonzo on the credits when watching anime, I don't usually care unless the animation is terrible.

Gonzo suck for what do to adaptations, but look at the rest of the world! Is it really so bad? Look at all the comic book to movie adaptions or movie to game adaptations. It's not just Gonzo who fuck it up. With that in mind, try to enjoy it for what it is, and if it bothers you so much don't watch it. After all, who cares if the adaptation is bad when you still have the original source material?

I have no idea how much of that list actually means anything to you, but basically Madhouse has created more top productions over the years than any other studio, except I guess Toei or something. Implying they are any where near as bad as Gonzo, or even that they are bad in the first place just shows how limited your knowledge is.
And as Shego pointed out the few examples you managed to scrounge together against them don't say very much at all, especially considering the source material for them was never stellar to begin with.

sory for the late reply been in london soaking up the fa cup build up/action for the last few days. West brom lost sniff!

firstly, source material? scrouge? oi oi, don't diss the manga as source material, i liked them all, just not the anime adaptions plus its no coincedence i picked them as im reading or completed them i could go on picking out duffers if i wanted but i can't be bothered just like this argument.

its obvious this is your personal opinion rather than facts as you're contradicting yourself by putting madhouse in a differnt league to gonzo. Madhouse are successful but so are gonzo! i talking about jap tv ratings & commerical sales not your fanboy opinion of hyperliniking a list and expecting me to start tommytanking little seiga fanboy style beacuse of death note and ccs.the very reason i said madhouse because i dont like most of their major works,im not questioning their success!would it be better to say its not them its their works?

will thank you though as i didn't know they did cyber city 808 and i last watched that on vhs subs back in the day and now i want to watch it again.

the previous post by elucard to is a good example

I don't think I completely undersand what all the points you're making are, but that's okay. I'm not interested in arguing with someone as uninformed as you. Have fun 'tommytanking' to the Tenjou Tenge manga or something.

Let´s just forget that fact that Trigun was an awesome anime and a great adaptation of the manga, more so since it wasn´t even complete at the time, shit the manga ended last year.

Madhouse did beauties like Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust, motherfucking Black Lagoon, Gunslinger girl (One of the best animes ever made), Birdy the mighty, Gungrave, Tokyo Godfathers, Metropolis, Paranoia Agent, Perfect Blue, Monster, Paprika, Highlander: Search for Vengeance, Akagi, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and a couple more that i´m probably not remembering. They also made Program of the animatrix project and their part of the Batman anime looks the best by far.

All of the above range between excellent and good, of course that not every anime they ever made is good, Claymore´s ending was fucking terrible, Devil May Cry was a joke and other shit like Beyblade and so forth but even so Madhouse is one of the greatest animation studios in japan and comparing it to Gonzo just shows - as jamie1990 said - how unbelievably uninformed you are.

Or you have shit taste, it´s probably that.

It was never a question of success, just s**t personal taste as you put it lol. Glad someone noticed haha!

How accurate can a full length movie be in comparison to a 24 episode series(minus the after story)? Having played the game and watched the anime and movie, the anime is the closest adaptation and has better animation.

I haven't read rosario vampire, but it's supposed to be a shonen right? The anime made it out to be a shojo with some crappy action.

Yehh! Gonzo gets off tracked with his recent releases. Its quite appalling considering they should be a veteran now when it comes to anime conversion of mangas. But man how they spit out crap these days are ridiculous! I mean they have a good one out right now but the statistics is awful. They give out more bad versions compared to their good release of a series.
