Thread: Looking for a good manga.

Hey guys, need a little help from the experienced manga readers here.
I'm currently reading berserk, naruto, bleach and Gantz.
But im looking for something more.
Got too much time on my hands between each chapter release (:
Anyone got any manga's to reccomend?
Preferably in the direction of Gantz/berserk, or naruto/bleach

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Fighting vampires with Kung fu in 1880s England followed by fighting ancient Aztec super-vampires during world war two alongside the Nazis followed by Around The World in 80 Days but with Psychic superpowers then Scooby-Doo meets Death Note with yet more psychic powers then something about mafia and prisons (I haven't got that far yet) then a horse race across 1890s America from San Francisco to NYC, with lots of asskicking in between plus collecting the mummified body parts of Jesus while fighting dinosaurs.

It's funcking awesome.

In The Gantz/Berserk area (seinen Action) = Vagabond

Naruto/Bleach (Shounen/Action) = eh Black Cat, or if you dont mind substituting some fights for intense psychological battles death note

Vagabonds ongoing, the other two are completed

Hmmm... If you've got too much time on your hands, then probably long series would be better than short ones for recommendations. Also, if you like shounen action/adventure, it's very likely you can also cross over to shounen sports series without too much trouble.

Shounen action:

- One Piece: Luffy D. Monkey wants to be the Pirate King, and gathers a crew of strong but weird misfits to help him along the way. Around 500 chapters and ongoing.

- Rave Master: Haru Glory was a simple island boy until an old man washed up on the shore and handed over a magic sword to him. Now, he has to take up the burden of being the Rave Master and searching for 5 Rave Stones in order to prevent the destruction of the world. Along the way, he finds new companions and discovers more about his family's past than he expected. Around 400 chapters and ongoing, I think.

Shounen sports:

- Hajime no Ippo: Makonouchi Ippo is a simple fisherman's boy who always gets bullied until he meets a pro boxer one day. Inspired by the boxer's strength, Ippo goes to the gym and begins training to become a pro boxer, in hopes of learning what it truly means to become strong. So begins a journey that takes him through many battles to become Japanese champion... and beyond. More than 800 chapters and still ongoing.

- Eyeshield 21: Kobayakawa Sena is a wimpy first-year high schooler who can only do one thing well - run very fast (trained by years of running errands for bullies). When his speed is spotted, he is forcibly recruited into Deimon High School's American Football club, run by the devilish quarterback Hiruma Youichi. There Sena is disguised as the light-speed runner from Notre Dame, Eyeshield 21, and soon becomes the ace of the team. One by one, more members, each with their own specialities, join the Deimon Devilbats as they aim for their goal - to play at the Christmas Bowl during the championships of the American Football High School tournament. 275 chapters and ongoing, but estimated to end within another 50 chapters or so. (They just have one match left to go...) High comedy value as well.

- H2: Kunimi Hiro and Tachibana Hideo have been close friends and baseball teammates since middle school. Hiro is an ace pitcher and Hideo is a star batter. But when doctor's orders force Hiro to stop pitching, he joins Senkawa High School where no baseball team exists, while Hideo goes on to Meiwa High School and its prestigious team. However, when Hiro finds out the doctor was a quack, he decides to form Senkawa's baseball team to challenge Hideo on the field, with the help of Koga Haruka, a sweet but clumsy girl. To make things more complicated, Hiro's childhood friend and first crush Hikari is now Hideo's girlfriend. What will happen when the two best friends finally face off for their showdown - in baseball, and in love? 34 volumes, complete.
