Thread: Hana-kimi

I just want people's thoughts abut this :P

I personally think this manga is awesome. I know it sounds a bit like ouran but for me it sorta has this unique twist that I cannot ignore :P

Hmm? Well, Im not into the whole gender-bender-y thingy and bits of guy-guy stuff shown here and there (bludy ick) but I could'nt bring myself to stop reading the whole series. Nontheless, memorable characters (there's that long-haired narcissistic dorm leader for instance), good background development and healthy doses of humour and drama makes this a nice manga to read.

Heh. My reaction to Ouran was on the lines of "liek Hana-Kimi only funny. And demented."

Solid gender-bender series of the girl-disguised-as-boy variety. Good story, solid characters, excellent story-telling, worth tracking down.

Decent drama. Bad manga. It had a decent concept and some great characters, but the plot was boring, the romance (and the characters involved) was awful, and the art was just plain terrible. If it wasn't for the half-decent drama that I actually enjoyed, I would have forgotten about this manga completely (I suspect that's because there was very little romance and more emphasis on all the dorm guys and their antics - more Nakatsu made the story better).

Oh, and by the way, this should be in Misc. Series.

I read Hanakimi, but not all the volume because it's too long. This is one of my fav, manga though because I like to read stories of Mizuki pretends to be a boy to help Sano getting back into high jump. The art was nice, too. But when I read the last volume, the art style changes though..
