Thread: Timeskip manga or manhwa

Romance or shounen types of manga with this no Naruto, Bleach, 666 satan, etc typical mangas...

I suppose Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou would be out for you, eh? Cause that's seinen down the line. Also, you have to wait for the last volume for the time skips (at which point every single frickin' chapter is a punch in the gut).

I don't know... I think there was a time-skip in the middle of YKK as well, wasn't there? When the little boy Alpha befriended at first had grown up into a teenager.

Cross Game has a time skip after the first volume... it has both shounen and romance elements in it.

Most high-school shoujo romances have some sort of timeskip at the end, just to show how the relationship turns out. But I don't think that's really what you're going for.

Cross Game is a good example, yeah.

It's not really a time-skip in the middle YKK -- Alpha went away for a year, traveling about the country for a volume, and when she returned found he'd sprouted. Until then there'd been steady growth as the time passes. It's only near the end that we start skipping, going years between chapters.
