Hi, ive been searching for a new anime for about 2days now and i cant seem to find something that REALLY catches my attention. I was watching Naruto and Bleach, but since i am way updated with the manga.. im just pilling up the episodes to watch it later. The anime type i like is something with alot of fighting, but with super powers or special abilities. Just like Naruto and Bleach, i really like HunterXHunter and think its the best anime ive watched, sucks that the anime of it is over.. i just read the newest manga of it too.. so if you guys know any anime that falls under a Naruto, Bleach, HunterXHunter type? please let me know what it is, something with a good anime animation too! if ever.. HOPE TO HEAR YOU GUYS' FEEDBACK! :)
Watching, Finished Anime:
Naruto (Stopped watching after the Sasori & Sakura battle to hold of)
Bleach (Stopped watching before the Huenco Mundo Arc to hold of)
Hunter X Hunter (Completed and miss it)
Devil May Cry (Completed and thought was ok)
Fate/Stay Night (Completed and liked it)
Flame Of Recca (Compted and liked it)
YuYu Hakusho (Completed and liked it, finished it long time ago)
D-Grayman (Watched till episode 5 or 6 and stopped)
Shakugan No Shana (Stopped watching because it got boring)
Kaze No Stigma (Stopped watching because it got boring)
Tenjho Tenge (On episode 7 so its still building up for me)
Shura No Toki (The only anime that i like without the superpowers, really like the story and the guy is funny, on episode 15)
I would have to think a bit, but im thinking you like action packed anime like i do....
Off the top of my head I would say
D.Gray-Man (its ongoing, and the manga comes out with every shonen jump, its one of my favorites right now)
One Piece (very good anime, tons of action, super powers, pirates, an its hilarious)
Cowboy Beebop (its just a classic and has really good fighting scenes)
Trigun (another very good anime with good fight scenes)
*Cowboy Beebop and Trigun are both gun fighting type animes*
There are a few more anime series that I liked but can't think of right now. Ill try to think of some more and post later on. Do you like other genres like comedy/romance ect.?
Tenjo Tenge - STOP WATCHING, has no actual end and the OVA's emphasize it, read the manga instead.
One Piece - Everything else just feels like copypasta
Flame of Recca and, possibly, YuYu Hakusho.
Whatever you do, don't watch the D.Gray-Man anime. It's a terrible one, and might not make you want to read the much-more-awesome manga.
I think you should just find a list of manga serialized in various shounen magazines (Weekly Shounen Jump in particular) and watch the anime of the action series. You'll find a lot.
Suggestions: Inuyasha and Claymore (I hear One Piece is good, too, although I have not seen it myself).
^ I agree about DGM. Also, if you'll be watching Claymoe, watch only first 19 episodes. The rest of it is not based on manga and, as the result, is just a crap not worth mentioning.
basilisk(best ninja anime ever. The art style is really "raw")
fullmetal alchemist(my top favorite anime)
darker than black(interesting series)
gurren lagaan(awesome series)
hajime no ippo(no super powers, but it's not like he needs any)
gungrave(one of those few good anime's based off games)
code geass(deathnote and gundam in one)
samurai champloo(cool fight scenes)
seirei no moribito(guardian of the sacred spirit) - some of the best animation i've seen in a series.
thanks guys for your feedback! although i forgot to add that i have watched Flame of Recca, YuYu Hakusho and I did watch like 5 or 6episodes of D-Grayman but it didnt really get me to watch more. Is Shaman King good? Intense fights are hard to find like fights thats like Final Fantasy Advent Children, all the simultaneous fight choreograph. I will look into you guys' suggestions and I appreciate the help.
I edited my first post to add info on the anime ive watched, completed etc..
Black Lagoon is another good action anime.
i need help to watch something new. hope someone responds thanks
