TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN

Rurouni Kenshin (Otherwise known as "Samurai X"... though I recommend watching the subtitled Kenshin rather than the dubbed Samurai X. Also, the manga tells a tighter story than the anime, so that may be preferable.)

Also, if you don't mind sports, you could try reading the Eyeshield 21 manga. (The anime isn't too well animated, but the manga shines.) It's basically about a high-school American football team, who treats each match like a battle. And there's a high number of tricks, dramatic reversals, and great comedy involved.

I also strongly second the recommendation for Hajime no Ippo. After every match, my adrenaline is pumping so much that I usually want to box myself.

thanks, that anime does look interesting. i never watch a mecha anime that was good. was never into gundam and all that. more into martial art/superpower/crazy fighting scenes. lol HunterXHunter is my all time favorite that fits all those. plus the story rules.

thanks, although i did watch Samurai X already. was cool, and im not into sports anime. just the plain of the mill fighting/superpower stuff. weapons are cool too like bleach. lol

hope you guys got any more ideas! i dont mind if the anime is over too

The trailer goes a bit overboard on the name-dropping but it should give you some idea of the veritable festival of manliness in store. But I mean seriously you've never seen a mecha anime you enjoyed before? not even like, the Big O or Medabots or something? Sheesh.

after watching episode 8 of TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN. i stopped. that pissed me off and was so sad.. what the hell man?!?! why did they let that happen?!?! thats b.s

i loved Elfen Lied. im so sad they are not making new episodes.. does anyone know something that even comes close to that anime?

also, im watching Zero No Tsukaima, it caught my attention and i ended up really liking it. cant wait for season 3. does anyone know another anime that comes close to this one too?
