About Wolf's Rain with spoilers: It felt to me like Paradise was the after-life. Not that it was intended to be that perhaps but since everybody died, basically, I in my mind got the impression that it was the same thing.
The thing that moved me wasn't thet, ut rather how everybody fought and fought just so at least one of them could reach it. How much the characters had developed and how sad it was that they had to die despite this. That goes for the humans, too, and how hopeless their situation was. The last four episodes I was constantly on my toes as to what would happen next.
one piece (spoiler) when ussopp left the crew
ruouni kenshin anime (spoiler) kenshin's death
fma hughes death
Ranma 1/2 manga (spoiler) end when ranma is stuck as is
Kenichi anime (spoiler) no one knoiws what happens to them after the fight XD
lol. You should play clannad. This english patch is out for the voiced version. I bawwed so much more at Kotomi's story than at fuuko's story.

Damn. I can't think of that many right now... I'll edit this post later or post a new one.
I just started watching Kotomi's episode. I still feel that Fuko's episodes is more emotional. The whole getting forgotten part made me ... err emotional. I guess it depends on the viewer. ah forget about me getting that game. I bet the file size is huge so I won't be downloading it. =\

Koruru and Yopopo's goodbyes brought tears to my eyes. And Kyanchome's story in volume 10 where he tried to rescue Rushka's sheeps.
Saikano. When the guy's childhood friend dies.
Welcome to the NHK. When Yamazaki leaves and drives away his crush.
School Days. Last episode.
Wait... Are you talking about the manga? Don't remember the anime too well, but to me that part in the manga was the most hilarious ever. Completely crazy, emotional and then out of nowhere Spoiler:she telling him that she's a lesbian. I fell out of my chair laughing at that moment.

I have to add "5 Centimeters per Second" to this thread. The entire film is one long emotional trip.
OMFG...yea I know. That totally came out as a "wtf" moment. But I was talking about the anime. He basically shows her all his erotic games and figurines in an effort to driver her away, but Nanako responds with "I think ecchi games are gross, but the way in which you're so open about it, that's what I like about you". Yakamoto didn't expect this, so he says something about her being into tentacle rape. Then she punches him and leaves. Yamamoto only wanted to driver her away because he was leaving Tokyo forever and there was no way they'd be able to pursue a relationship. And the end of the episode with the black screen you can hear him say "sayonara, Nanako-san". That part was really quite emotional for me.
