Berserk: The eclipse. I'm not going to say more than that. If you've watched/read Berserk then you'll know exactly what I mean. If you haven't, I'm not going to tell you as it's the defining point of this series and to spoil it would be to ruin the entire experience.

One piece: The first spoiler Redeyephantom mentioned, plus the bit where Nami is trying to remove the tattoo on her arm by stabbing it repeatedly, then breaks down crying and whimpers "Help me" to Luffy. Oh, and Luffy's massive war cry afterwards was cool too.

Pretty much every chapter in the last volume of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, each one jumping forward a few years and we watch, with Alpha, the ships of all her friends traveling downstream while she stays on her shore. After which, the final perfect chapter in which she comes home. Never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

The last chapter of Cross Game volume 1: as Koh wanders around trying to figure out what he's supposed to do, now that <Spoiler> was dead, until he sees a little kid crying over something and realizes, Oh yeah, I'm supposed to cry. And he does.

The scenes of the final episode of Simoun when we find out what happened to Aeru and Neveril on the other side of the Emerald Remajion. (Even if, dammit, it wasn't to travel back in time to win the war.)

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

    Gunnm Gunnm Gunmm

Almost every volume of the original story, and even parts of the sequel, made me feel like I was breaking up with a longtime lover. I died a little at the end of Volume 1 and 5 and even the Den Finale.

i'm going to go with FMA as well, the scene with hughs and the ensuing funeral. first time a manga actually made me a bit teary. i haven't read most of the other mangas/animes listed here so i can't comment on that. the Eclipse wasn't too emotional for me - perhaps it might be because i already knew from other posts.

I'm gonna suggest one from Clannad cause I just finish watching one of its episodes. It's Fuko's sister's wedding. She was in such a horrible condition and yet all she could think of is her sister's happiness. I miss her small talks with Okazaki "Sayaku desu!". If I ever get a Clannad game. I'll definitely try to get a Fuko ending.

Chrno Crusade ending is also great. I'm talking about the manga and not the anime (The anime's ending suck!). The extra chapter at the end where they showed Rosette's final moments is very touching. I really do hope that it wasn't just a hallucination.

There are so many emotional moments in animes/mangas^^

    (careful many spoilers beneath)

The later episodes of NGE have lots of.
    Berserk (the ecplipse)
Kimi ga Nozomu Einen (many moments where Mitsuki nearly breaks because she knows thatTakayuki meets his ex)
Claymore (the end of the battle in the north)
Fate stay night (last episode and last sentence, berserker killing archer)
One Piece (robin crying, nami cutting herself, lysop leaving the crew, doc hiruluks death)
    Death Note (L's death)
    Eternal Sabbath (Akibas sacrefice)
King of Wolfs (the last seperation through time)
Bitter Virgin (the confession in the curch)
Ai-Ren (well... many moments. Its ai-ren! the hole manga is emotioal)

and many many more i cant remeber right now.

I just remembred something I shouldn't have forgotten. The Ending of Wolf's Rain. (Spoiler: How all of the characters I loved died one by one really got to me)

^Yes, the ending of Wolf's Rain was just brilliant. Spoilers: But to me, it weren't exactly the deaths but how the whole world was reborn in the end. I don't know why exactly, but perhaps the music or the realisation the journey wasn't futile, but it nearly made me go all teary-eyed.

In Berserk, the Eclipse was definitely impressive, but it wasn't emotionally charged for me. It was more like... "Whoa..."

One of my own favourite moments has to be the final part of the Kenshin/Shishio fight from Rurouni Kenshin. When Kenshin was about to resign himself to the fact that he would die, but then regained his will to survive. That and his parting with Kaoru in Tokyo.

    Other good ones were:

    - Ending of Chrono Crusade
    - Ending of Gungrave
    - Ending of Gunslinger Girl
    - Kishimoto's and Katou's deaths in the Buddha Mission; Gantz
    - Hughes's death and funeral; Full Metal Alchemist
    - Saber admitting her feelings to Emiya; Fate-Stay Night

Oh, and I nearly forgot the greatest of all... Final episode of Cowboy Bebop. Bang!
