Thread: Manga w/ dominating female lead

I was wondering if anyone could suggest to me a manga where there is an obviously dominating female character with an obvious romantic interest in the male lead. It doesn't even matter if it's on this site or not and it doesn't matter what genre it is, so long as there IS somewhere I can find it and read it. I have been searching the internets and I cannot seem to find what I've been looking for. Kaibutsu Oujo (Princess Resurrection) is the only thing that even comes close but even that doesn't really have much of a romantic story going on, it's more about the adventures, etc. If anyone can help, please do. Thanks

Suzuka. Title character is so dominating, she's a bitch.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (anime). Not really romance though. Most of it's implied.

Anne Freaks. This one's kinda twisted. Not really a romance either.

cardcaptor sakura. possibly xxxholic. black lagoon also... sorta iffy but might be along the lines of what you're looking for.

Shakugan no Shana. She literally cuts him up! XD

Sakura doesn't have a romantic interest in the male lead in CCS, and there's no romance between Yuuko and Watanuki in xxxHOLiC.

I was thinking maybe... Lovely Complex? Risa's a pretty... unusual... character. There's also Sailor Moon...?

You could also try most of Takahashi Rumiko's manga; they're full of dominant females and romance.

Nah -- Risa from Lovely Complex doesn't count. She is, for a shoujo heroine, pretty strong, but she doen't dominate Otani so much as hold her own against him. More or less.

Hmm. There's Rue/Kraehe from Princess Tutu. But the request was for manga, not anime.

Typical shonen harem manga. Ending really sucked. If you want shonen harem manga, read Ichigo 100% instead.

Eh, depends on the definition of "dominate". She does pick him up and carry him around once in a while... =P
