Thread: Recommendation for comedy space adventure

Is there any other mangas like Cowboy Bebop or Vandread out there? If they are, please recommend them..

As for recommendations... Hm... I only the anime (yes I know you wanted manga) Planetes, but that isn't really adventure, but more realistic day to day life. Charming.

But I think you'd like the american TV-show Firefly (which is, I actually know this, not a manga) that has a feeling very close to that of cowboy bebop, but a bit more low-tech.

Oh and Firefly is pretty good, I was so disapointed when I learned that it was canceled U_u The movie wasn't that bad either, gave a good followup.

Oh, sorry if it might have come out in a negative tone. What I meant was "try it, it might be good contrary to the anime".

Trigun is more sci-fi than space adventure. Though there was a space ship there wasn't alot of space action. Triguns got more of a wild-west type of thing going on.

Heroic Age was a good space anime. It was short and the art was pretty good, the space wars was nice. The ending was good it was a decent anime throughout the series. It wasn't incredibly good like Cowboy Bebop but its got high tech stuff.

Maybe Crest/Banner of the Stars? (although I've only seen the anime). They don't have much adventure though, they're more like space opera

lost universe is a good comedy action anime too^_^

Can Cowboy Bebop (the anime) really be classified as a comedy? If I recall correctly, the last two episodes were pretty damn depressing.

Firefly the TV series? Yea, it was good. I too was disappointed when it was canceled.
