Thread: Anime/Manga like School Days

Just like the title says, know any anime/manga like School Days??

I just can't forget about it even though I watched it about a few months ago....

Um... which particular part of School Days did you like? The general romantic drama genre? The two-timing, betrayals and angsting? The psychopathic bloodletting at the end?

The closest anime equivalents I can think of are either Shuffle! or Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (a.k.a. Rumbling Hearts). Maybe Mai-Hime as well.

I loved that ending... well not loved, but i was satisfied with it. It was the only part that made me think "Oh nice, something good for once"

As dizzcity asked, wich part did you like? The guy nailing like 8 girls? Kotonoha being stupid? Makoto being an ass? The perfect touch of blood? We need specifications here!

If you liked every piece of it, someone told me Summer Days is (will be) out, but i don't know if it's anime or game... BUT Makoto is even more of an ass. I'll write why at the bottom. I don't understand how it relates to the storyline of School Days.

You may like Bokutatsu tenshi dokuro-chan? (Spelling?) It's bloody, it's stupid, it's absurd. It's not really like School Days at all, save it's kinda weird, i just thought it'd be good to point it to you. Specify a bit more so we can come up with something.

Ah yes, Makoto is an asshole because he:

Bangs Kokoro (Kotonoha's lil' sister), as far as i know he tried to rape her in the beach but she escaped, though luck for Kokoro when he went to her house and got what he wanted. Oh yes he also does Kotonoha's mother O_o wtf.

I want to see the innocent guy turning into a playboy then paying for it in the end.......lol!!!...btw, seen shuffle and kimi ga but haven't seen mai-hime....what's it all about??

I think Summer Days is just a game where Setsuna is the main character. As for the spoilers, could've been nice if that happened!!

haha, i can't think of any manga/anime like school days.. i think it is first of its kind, a harem-type anime that becomes rea~~~lly disturbing..

i haven't looked it up yet, but is the game translated?

I think its loved for the quick and unpredictable twist in the end. Well thats why I like it. You might want to try Chocolat. iono

hmm.. the anime that comes straight to mind is shuffle! kimi no... and Gift eternal rainbow... all of those have some psychotic bitch... thats all that really comes to mind... (i dont know any anime about an innocent guy turning to a playboy then paying for it...)

KgNE's got the angst. And one guy who's an ass and one girl who's a bitch. But although the protagonist does copulate with two girls, it's not really on the School Days level.
