I just finished Katsu!. So far, this has to be my favorite adachi manga. I think the fact that I liked the art far more than the older mangas helped in choosing this as my favorite. My next read is gonna be the ninja one XD!

You may like the artwork in Cross Game even more.

I like the ninja one, confusing as it is.

I'm a tad hesitant in reading Cross Game because I'd probably go crazy having to wait each week for a new chapter. I've gone through it before, and am going through it with plenty of series currently. I'll leave it to read last in my list of adachi mangas. I'm through about 5 volumes of ninja, It's pretty entertaining XD.

Wait with it 'til last then. It certainly is a manga worth waiting for.

I still can't decide on my favorite Adachi manga, though... I can decide on different aspects, but on a whole... That's harder.

Heh. Now you see my difficulty, and why it's hard to recommend individual Adachi manga instead of the whole lot under one mangaka. Actually, a lot of Adachi-sensei's works feel very similar to each other, which means that if you like one you'll probably like them all. It's just these small variations within and between the series that makes each one special and hard to ignore.

P.S. We really should split the last dozen posts or so off into a proper Adachi thread...

Go watch or read (preferably read) Saikano. Its romance borders on melodrama, and it's so depressing it's almost funny. A win-win situation!

It's not available. Scanlations stopped at roughly volume 5 once it was licensed, and only recently was there a group secretly scanlating it. Can't remember what their name was, but I'm pretty sure they haven't finished it yet... only a few more volumes have been scanlated so far as I know. On the other hand, all 18 volumes have been released in English licensed manga.
