    Default Steampunk manga

Im a great fan of steampunk. Books, anime, manga, movies and the such. Its hard to find a good steampunk that isnt generally known by everyine already such as Last Exile or FMA. I can probably name all the popular steampunk such as D. Grey-Man and Steel Angel Kurumi. Can anyone help me?

(for those of you who dont know what steampunk is, its classic era meets modern era such as an airplane in feudal age Japan. But check steampunk on wikipedia

Laputa, of course, but you'd already know about that.

Though honestly, most of the steampunk I can think of is western, not Japanese. (Have you met an anthology series called Flight? A lot of the stories are steampunkish, especially the first couple volumes.)

Well there was this other series, I dodnt know the name of it, but it was buy Kenneth Oppel and the books included Airborne and Skybreaker. A VERY good series. But when it comes to manga Im just trying to find something obscure and not known to most people.

Heh, going by that definition, Niji-Iro Togarashi is steampunk. :P Gintama, obviously. Scrapped Princess too (sorta). Samurai Champloo?

Heck, even Zero no Tsukaima can be considered steampunk. (Ugh, though)

Beyond those, I can't think of any more offhand.

How can Nijo Iro Togarashi be steampunk when it hasn't any steam engines?

Ciel, though -- that's got trains. It's shoujo rather than punk, but hey.

Its quite hard to differ what could be considered steampunk. Cyberpunk is way easier to define. But steampunk doesnt mean it neeeeeds steam powered anything in it. Its just a cross of future and past technologies with the opposite time of enviroment to make an alternate verse of earth or planet earth look alike

I already own it on DVD. I remember watching it years ago on Adult Swim. Same with the TV series
