Default Mangas similar to Hana Yori Dango?

I'm looking for a new manga to read so any recommendations would be appreciated!

I really like mangas with a love triangle that gets you really involved and into the book. Comedy is good, but not too much. I like mangas that keep you wanting to read more.

I've read Absolute Boyfriend, which I thought was okay but it was weird.
I've also ready Hot Gimmick, and I thought it was pretty good.
Is there anymore mangas out there similar to HYD?

By the mangaka of Hana Yori Dango, there's Cat Street. Crimson Hero. Bara no Tameni. In a completely different direction, Hot Blooded Woman is also similar to HYD. In another direction of similarity, Uwasa no Midori-kun. In yet another direction, Honeymoon Salad.

Given the titles you mentioned, I'm assuming that River Walk, Handsome Girlfriend, Marmelade Boy, et cet would be pitched younger than you're looking for. And Kodocha would be waaay too young.

Actually, I find the manga that's closest to Hana Yori Dango is Penguin Brothers. All the same elements, except that the love triangle part is slightly understated. Hina has just transferred to a new high school, following her uncle who is a travellling artist. However, there's something weird about the students of this school - they're all wearing either white or black uniforms! Hina later learns that there are two factions within the school community - the upright, goody-goody Whites and the rebellious delinquent Blacks... and they hate and often wage war against each other. When Hina refuses to join either faction because she thinks it's silly, both factions start bullying her. Hina, enraged, then plans to found her own faction - the Greys, and sends a challenge to the leaders of the Black and White factions, saying she will eliminate them within the year! And to open the battle, she kicks the leader of the Blacks in the groin, while the leader of the Whites first becomes friendly and then completely ignores her because of a shared past that she herself seems to have forgotten.

Parfait Tic also has a similar situation, I think. Basically, two handsome bishounen cousins move into the apartment where the main character stays. One is cold and abrupt, but intelligent and mature. The other is energetic and exciting, but tends to be flighty and hot-tempered. This is more Hot Gimmick-y than Hana Yori Dango-ish, since the main character bounces between the two of them quite often. But if you want a love triangle, this is it.

And yeah, I second the recommendation of Hot Blooded Woman. Maybe Red Lion as well. Later developments of Skip Beat! also show potential to develop into a love triangle (though I desperately hope not!).

Manga Genre Focus: Romance, Comedy, Slice-of-life. Primarily shounen, then seinen and shoujo.

I almost mentioned Penguin Brothers, but decided it probably counted as being as young as Marmelade Boy. But I'd forgotten about Parfait Tic -- that DEFINITELY is the stuff being looked for. Also, Anata to Scandal, though it's also on the young side.

Like pseudorandom, I recommand Cat Street. And Penguin brothers. Cat street is from the same mangaka as Hana Yori Dango, and Penguin Brothers is one of the first scanlated manga I read. It actually made me cry.
