Complex Plot - Recommendation Request
Searching for manga with
- Complex plot
- Dark/horror like scenario
- If possible, in one that actions scenes aren't the most important
- If possible, in one that gore and nudity doesn't overrule the plot
http://www.mangaupdates.com/mylist.h...9451&list=read - my manga list, not completely made by have 80% of what I read or I am reading.
Thank you for your time and recommendation's
Monster- It doesn't have any gore or nudity and not much action scenes but it definitely falls under the first three categories that you have. I haven't finished reading it but I can easily say its a must read.
I think you have mentioned that you've read this before but it wasn't in your list so...
^That because it's on the "Complete series" list, forgot to add that link too - I enabled it so it can be viewed.
And yeah, I'm searching for series more or less like Monster.
Monster. The only one i can think about. The 'bad guy' tortures the minds of his victims before killing them <.<
Yah, if you haven't, go read that shit.
Yea, Eternal Sabbath is a good one. I didn't notice Homunculus there. You should check that one out.
Kilico. Kilico Kilico Kilico Kilico. Also Narutaru, both have what you're looking for.
And yeah, stuff by Naoki urasawa always goes down smooth. I suspect you'd enjoy The Drifting Classroom and Benkei in New York.
In terms of anime , there a few movies/ short series that definitely apply. Perfect blue, Le Portrait de Petit Cossette, The Soultaker.
p.s. since you've read shin angyo onshi, you should also read Island.
Read monster. It is awesome and it does have some nudity, though it is so brief that it isn't worth mentioning. And if I should read the plot thing as "absurd" rather than complex I would say 20th Century Boys.
Welcome to the NHK has everything except the complex and gore parts.
Welcome to NHK is awesome - it really makes you ask yourself how much time you spent passively ;p
As I said, I already read Monster
hmm....try Godchild...? it does seem interesting. i only read a little bit of it, though.
