Default Recommendation for light-hearted shoujo comedy / romance?

I've become interested shoujo again after delving into shounen/seinen for so long. Can someone recommend a light-hearted shoujo comedy, with or without romance? Preferably with, but not if it comes alongside heartbreaking drama/angst. I want light-hearted stuff. And shoujo or josei. My readings of shounen romance/comedies is even more extensive than shoujo, so I'm pretty sure the only "unexplored territory" left is shoujo and josei. Something along the lines of Ouran High School Host Club is about right.

Shoujo series that I have read / am reading / have given up on:
    - 2x2 Shinobuden
    - 7 Seeds
    - Aishiteruze Baby
    - Akazukin Cha Cha
    - Anastasia Club
    - Azumanga Daioh
    - Beauty is the Beast
    - Billion Girl
    - Boys n Girl
    - BxB Brothers
    - Chobits
    - Daa Daa Daa
    - Dice
    - Emma
    - Fruits Basket
    - Full Moon wo Sagashite
    - From Far Away
    - Glass Mask
    - Gokusen
    - Good Morning Call
    - Goong
    - Hana-Kimi
    - Hana Yori Dango
    - Happy World
    - Hands Off
    - Honey and Clover
    - Hot Blooded Woman
    - Hot Gimmick
    - Imadoki
    - Itadakimasu
    - Itazura na Kiss
    - It Started with a Kiss
    - Kare Kano
    - Kokoro Library
    - Koukou Debut
    - Love Monster
    - Love Roma
    - Lovely Complex
    - Marmalade Boy
    - Mint na Bokura
    - Ouran High School Host Club
    - Parfait Tic
    - Peach Girl
    - Perfect Girl Evolution
    - Penguin Brothers
    - Pita-Ten
    - Red Lion
    - Tokyo Crazy Paradise
    - Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
    - Waserurenai
    - W-Juliet
    - XXXHoLiC
    - You're So Cool

... and everything by Mitsuru Adachi, of course. (Have tried Excel Saga and You're Under Arrest as well... but can't seem to get into them very much.) That's pretty much as complete a list of shoujo manga that I can recall... though I'm pretty sure I left a few out. Anything not on that list is welcome.

Lessee -- the obvious omissions from your list, off the top of my head:

    Anata to Scandal
    Bara no Tameni
    Cat Street
    Hime-chan no Ribon
    Kodocha
    Land of the Blindfolded
    Maria-sama ga Miteru
    Nana
    Omkumae Desu
    Penguin Revolution
    Random Walk
    Special A
    Uwasa no Midori-kun

The last two are incredibly cheesy (that is, they're about as not-good as Love Monster) but important. Some of those are more pure drama than comedy, but either really good or strong exemplars of the genre. Hime-chan and Kodocha are on the younger end of shoujo -- which is to say, sweet in their romance -- and are by authors of others in your list.

ETA: My fave of those is probably Land of the Blindfolded, which has the added bonus of being completely translated.
Today is always the most enjoyable day. Just ask Yotsuba.

It's not shoujo but really funny

School Rumble - light hearted, no useless ecchi, some action (especially in laughing off other series and movies, like Matrix)

Beauty Pop, Crimson Hero, and Skip Beat are among my favourite shoujo series. None of them are incredibly light-hearted, but they're all surprisingly good for their genre.

I'll second Nana; that story is a masterpiece.

You could also try: Aka-chan to Boku, Angelic Layer, A Thousand Years of Snow, Boku ni Natta Watashi, Fushigi Yuugi (and Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden), Cardcaptor Sakura, Chikyuu Kanri-nin (another personal favourite), Divine Melody, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Kaze Hikaru, Merupuri, Milk Crown (that one is really sweet ^_^), My Girl, Nodame Cantabile, Safe Again Today, Shinshi Doumei Cross, Tsuki no Shippo, Ultra Maniac, Vanilla Ice, and Zettai Kareshi. I also stopped reading Toraware no Minoue, although that wasn't a bad story, either. Finally, for some cute and short stuff, read Manga Mitaina Koi Shitai, Kiwametsuke Gakuya Ura Ouji (a.k.a. Backstage Prince - this was in Shoujo Beat in America, so I think that's what might have been scanlated, and under that name), and Mamacolle (which is full of cute things).

(Incidentally, Chobits, Tsubasa, and xxxHOLiC aren't shoujo, are they? I thought they were seinen, shounen, and seinen, respectively... xD)

Ai Kora (aka Love & Collage)
Midori no Hibi (aka Midori Days)

My favorites in romance comedies. Both by Kazurou Inoue. The romance takes a while to kick in, but it's still great.

Um, did you read the topic? I'm pretty sure that dizzcity wants SHOUJO, not more shounen romances.

Oh. Sorry I thought something was wrong. I don't pay much attention to Shounen or Shoujo categories.

Things I have read under those catergories were

    Mint na Bokura
    Ichigo channel
    and...*trys very hard to search*
    Ai yori Aoshi.

If Azumanga Daoih is considered Shoujo enough (it's seinen btw), I recommend Yotsuba&! (also seinen). If that isn't light-hearted comedy nothing is.

Eep, I knew I missed a few... already read Kodocha (loved it), Milk Crown (and Lovers, and H... all excellent), Land of the Blindfolded (good), Aka-chan to Boku (couldn't stand it), Crimson Hero (okay), CC Sakura (nice), KK Jeanne (ending was weird), Merupuri (well, I tried... but bounced off hard), Nodame (hehehe), Shishi Doumei Cross (... -_-' shounen-ai within the first volume puts me off badly), Ultra Maniac (enjoyable) and Zettai Kareshi (don't like the concept, but read it all anyway).

Oh, and read all the ones that were mentioned as shounen/seinen or non-shoujo, of course. I've read far more shounen/seinen/unspecified comedy-romances than I have shoujo ones... though I guess I sometimes misclassify them. :P (Okay, I agree Chobits isn't really shoujo... but I think Tsubasa and xxxHolic are. Bishounen are generally a good indicator. Not to mention the occasional shounen-ai hint here and there... *cough* Fai and Kurogane *uncough*. And I don't think AzuDai or Yotsuba really belong in any audience-specific genre. Just slice-of-life comedy.)

Having said that, I was thinking about some of the ones you guys mentioned, but not sure about the heaviness of the drama. NANA, for instance, is not really what I'm looking for - a little too deep. I want fluff at the moment. But I'll give the rest a shot. Thanks!

    Eh, but the magazine that a manga is serialized in says it all, right? ^^;;

Hm, for fluff - how fluffy? I just read the incredibly short Maigo no Kemonotachi, and it's certainly fluff, but also a completely terrible story (although I suppose if you like seeing cute, innocent romance obviously intended for little girls who want to believe in magic...). I also found the first Shinjo Mayu story I can tolerate - Ai wo Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero - but it's also essentially without a strong plotline and is merely the girly boy making out with the manly girl.

I didn't mention any of Saenagi Ryou's works, although you probably don't want them if you hate shounen-ai. On the other hand, there isn't really any romance in Nanaki, and it's a good story. Since Shinshi Doumei Cross really does have a gay couple (although it does take a backseat to the main romance later on), it could be... well, I don't know. It's up to you~

    All right, other additions:
    -Ciel
    -Cutie Boy
    -Family Complex
    -Heaven!!
